WHAT WE BELIEVE 2017-05-18T18:39:21+00:00

We Believe the Holy Bible is the Word of God. The scriptures are divinely inspired and God breathed. The Word of God is infallible and incapable of error. It is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and instruction in righteousness (II Tim. 3:16). The Word of God is living and operative. It is able to transform lives, change circumstances, stop the plans of Satan and every demon spirit (Heb. 4:12).

We believe Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah, and The Anointed One. He is the only begotten Son of God the Father. His mother Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and conceived the Holy Child supernaturally (Luke 1:34). Jesus was sent by God to save mankind from destruction and eternal damnation. Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man (I Tim. 2:5). He is the only means by which mankind can be reconciled and have fellowship with God the Father. He said: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and His blood was shed for all mankind.

We believe in the Triune God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The three divine Persons are one God, not three gods. In reference to the order of their activities the Father is first, the Son is second, and the Holy Spirit is third. The general order is from the Father (I Cor. 8:6), through the Son (John 3:17), by the Holy Spirit (Zech. 4:6).

We believe in the plan of salvation that Jesus Christ was sent by God to save mankind from destruction and eternal damnation (John 3:16-17).  The Bible declares in Rom. 10:9-10 “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Salvation is not by works but by faith alone in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8).

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit which is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation (Lk. 24:49) / (Acts 2:39). It is a second work of grace in the life of the believer.

We believe in divine health and healing. The forgiveness of sin and healing were accomplished through the atoning work of Jesus Christ at Calvary (Is. 53:4-5), (I Peter 2:24).

We believe that hell was made for satan and his angels (Matt. 25:41). It was not designed for humans. However, if any human rejects Jesus Christ and dismisses His work on the cross, they will go to hell. Hell is an actual place.

We believe that Heaven is a prepared place, for a prepared people. There are many mansions (John 14:2), rewards (Rev. 11:18), and crowns (Rev. 2:10) in heaven. It is a place of untold beauty, rest and peace. It is a place where there is no sickness, pain or tears. Heaven is where the throne of God is located. God is there being continually and eternally worshipped. The Lamb of God (Jesus) is there at God’s right hand. The only way to get into heaven and to live forever is through faith in Jesus Christ and His atoning work at Calvary.

We believe in the new creation and that God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and we are made in His image and likeness. Therefore, we are a spirit, we have a soul and we live in a physical body (I Thess. 5:23). Due to our Adamic nature, we was born spiritually dead, separated and alienated from the life and promises of God. Therefore, we need to be born again. When we repent and accept Jesus Christ as our risen Savior at that moment we become a new creation in Christ according to (II Cor. 5:17).

We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of our salvation; the return of the Lord Jesus Christ (I Thess. 5:23). The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord (Heb. 12:14).

We believe it is clearly God’s will that His people be financially prosperous through biblical principals and practices such as Tithe and Offering (Deut. 8:18 / Joshua 1:8 / III John 2 / Ps. 35:27 Malachi 3:10,11).

We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Her Great Commission. Each believer, born of the Spirit, is an integral part of the Called Out Assembly and Church of the Firstborn, which are written in heaven (Eph. 1:22 / Eph. 2:19-22 / Heb. 12:23).

We believe in the two-fold purpose of the New Testament Church. (1) The ministry of reconciliation (2) The ministry of subjugation (II Cor. 5:18, Mark 16:15- 20, Acts 2:35, Romans 16:20.

We believe in the manifestation of the Gifts of the Spirit in public meetings, so long as such conform to Scriptural order (I Cor. 12:1-11).
